jonny fallout memories of nowhere best indie music review

When I first heard the enchanting sounds of “Memories of Nowhere“, I was instantly transported to a place of wonder and imagination. Jonny Fallout‘s new EP is an auditory adventure, a journey through ethereal soundscapes that spark the imagination and stir the soul.

In this review, I invite you to join me on this journey, as we explore the magic of the EP. From the nostalgic synthwave melodies to the captivating EDM beats, this EP is a masterful blend of sounds that will take your breath away.

Memories of Nowhere - Luca's Take

From the opening notes, I was captivated by the intricate layers of sound and the dreamy vocals that floated over the top. The haunting melodies and pulsing beats combined to create a lush, atmospheric soundscape that drew me in and held me spellbound.

As I listened to the rest of the EP, I was struck by the artistry and skill that went into crafting each track. Jonny Fallout’s signature blend of EDM and synthwave was on full display, with each song offering a unique perspective on the genre.

What sets “Memories of Nowhere” apart, however, is the way it seamlessly weaves together these disparate elements into a cohesive whole. The result is an immersive experience that takes you on a journey through time and space, evoking memories of a past that never was and a future that has yet to be.

With its ethereal vocals, lush keyboard lines, and atmospheric guitars, Jonny created a truly captivating EP that is sure to bring magic into your life for the time you’ll be listening to it.

Jonny is sure no stranger to creating this kind of sensation and his sound is an extremely well-defined one. We can’t talk of a surprise here, when we say that the quality is, as usual, top notch.

Memories of Nowhere - Alex's Take

Upon first listening to the 4 songs, the emotions they evoke are intermittent, but upon re-listening, it seems like experiencing the two faces of emotional solitude.

Starting from the first song, where the person walking seeks comfort while the feeling of loneliness corrodes the soul, making it feel incomplete and alone.

The same person rebels against the solitude in the second song, deciding to go wild and have fun without restraint, deluding herself that alone allowing her to do whatever she wants and that the warmth of one night is enough.

Then in the third song, the realization of loneliness and emptiness returns, and in the fourth song, the destructive rebellion returns, concluding the infinite cycle to start again from the first song.

From a musical standpoint, the rhythm is overwhelming, with a captivating selection of sounds where the electric guitar is the icing on the cake, and the vocals convey the fragility of emotions. Despite being accustomed to it, I express a high level of curiosity about the voices: if Madonna asked, “who’s that girl?”, I ask myself, “whose voice is that?
