BEDROOM SYNTH DREAMS
eLxAr is a bedroom synthpop and synthwave duo from Italy, striving to create soul-infused retro music.
From our small home studio, we sculpt nostalgic soundscapes inspired by the neon glow of the 80s and the 90s, blending analog synths, modern pop production, and the intimate imperfections of DIY creation.
Our music started from zero, and we learned (and are still learning) along the way. Our style spans wherever our current vision leads, ranging from classic Synthpop to energetic Outrun, Synthwave, and even the most relaxing Dreamwave.
ALEXANDRA:
Singer, Lyricists, and illustrator for all the more detailed graphical elements of the eLxAr project, she fights every day with her fibromyalgia to keep the eLxAr dream alive.
She has a scolastic background in art, and is a huge lover of animals and nature.
PASSIONS: Cooking, Fishing, Mushroom Gathering, Embroidery, Videogames. and shooting the best nature photos possible for her “Greenwood” Instagram page.
LUCA:
Music Producer, Mixing Engineer, Mastering Engineer, Pixel Artist, Game Designer, occasional Lyricist. Everything eLxAr needs to keep going, he gets to it and learn the skill.
After many years spent studying as a Pianist, he mainly uses his keyboard while composing new music for the project and is responsible for the lower-resolution pixel art of the project.
